About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Going on holiday... or finish fixing my apartment? XD

ABOUT ME

Yeah, I'm 40-something but I really can't get framed into our society's definition of what a "mature" person is, instead I think life is an exploration to be made, and will always be so, no matter how "established" we fool ourself into believing we are.
Working as a teacher (and also as an independent professional) I have quite some flexible time in the afternoons and weekends which I use in the most incongruous ways, listening to music, reading, biking around with (or even without) a camera, playing, going to the mountains skying, trekking or climbing or even exploring some ruins, and at times having a beer with friends, and clubbing when I'm in the mood :D
I think I'm quite easygoing towards people, I like to give space to surprises in life and to new experiences, but I strongly dislike hypocrites and pretentious situations...
I'll seldom go to a place or do things just to be "in the company" if there's something I really don't like about what is being planned, and I'm not afraid to politely express my views about things, situations and people as much as to listen others' of course.

More, Coming Soon... (TM)

"PHILOSOPHY"
I think "having a philosophy" is like trying to cast a die on the world... one can only try to honestly discover life and himself in the process, so a philosophy could come out of it, maybe... someday... when I'll be happy to just sit and remember?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Nothing yet on CS Project (yes I'm new at this) but I have been in a lot of people's houses, previous friends and sometimes aquaintances during travels, and hosted a few too :)

Interests

There are just too many interesting things in the world, and not enough time... foremost I would say music (especially postpunk and new wave), photography, visual arts and movies, history, cooking, discovering places and cultures, mountains, good reads, "complicated mechanisms" and weirdness in general :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying curious as a baby (or a monkey, maybe?)

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't think there's an end to what one can learn and teach, as long as we're in the right mindset. I have deep personal practical knowledge of cooking, photography, graphics and various crafting skills, and I'm interested in various academical subjects, but I'm sure I could still learn on these all too... and sometimes I discover there's something else I can teach that I wasn't even aware of!

What I Can Share with Hosts
