About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Here, sit quietly, and I'll tell you a story; a story of fierce vindication, righteous failure and maddening triumph. This is your story...
ABOUT ME
I'm an up-and-coming teacher and experienced filmmaker. I try to capture the beauty of a simple thing. Frame by frame, the complexity of things.
~
I can share with you many thoughts, stories, and beliefs from many different ideas and philosophies. Most important, I want to listen to the stories you tell - I pay attention to how everyone tells their stories through words, art, actions, or feelings... and it gives me inspiration. I speak genuinely from my heart, even if my own heart can be a mystery to me sometimes.
I almost always find the people I make company with enjoyable. I am drawn to many different kinds of people and I've walked in many different shoes - and if I haven't walked in them, I've walked beside them.
I'm not afraid of afternoon rain or climbing onto a roof. I'm always trying to find what boundary of mine I might try to push next. Even I can get nervous sometimes, and I love the thrill of life.
My mind is sometimes amazingly complex and connected, while other times it is simple and clean; it is not enough to be just logical and philosophical. The simple stories can be just as beautiful and inspiring, and I hope you can tell me yours~
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was in Firenze, Italy with an amazing woman named Paris. I explored the city in the most atypical, non-touristic fashion, which is exactly how I like it. I'm not the kind of person who wants to just see the "big photo-taking sites" or do the typical tourist things; I like to experience a culture, a society, a place, through its roots, its locals. That's the kind of experience I had with Paris, and I'm looking forward to creating more like it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My life began in dirty flood water. Knee-high, sometimes neck-high, swimming home from school or surfing on the neighbour's fence. I remember playing fetch when I was little with the dogs, tossing sticks into the water for them to catch. I asked questions - if it's called a drain then why isn't it draining, why is it always brown, what's a snow day, do all roaches swim? I giggled at the half-sunken cars floating down the street, I listened to the night-long thunderstorms, I sailed every imaginable sea.
Dirty flood water means so much more to me than you might ever think.~
