Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world and meet the individuals in it. To be happy and free....and learn German...
ABOUT ME
Since a young age, when my parents and I immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico, I realized that I enjoyed being constantly in new places, I grew anxious to go somewhere different after a while of being home; simply put I realized that I live to travel and to experience the world. I have my bachelor's in Spanish (which I chose simply to be able to study abroad in Spain at first, but then I ended up really enjoying it). I worked a few jobs including teaching English in a few different places (South Korea, Spain, California, and now Germany) and other office and service-sector jobs here and there. I truly enjoy languages and cultures, from the familiar to the least known and always make it a goal to change that last part and get to know them.
PHILOSOPHY
When we leave this world, we take nothing with us except the joys we lived....so live and enjoy and help others do the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing of course because it opens doors when travelling (pun originally not intended) and I find it a great idea, but most importantly because of the abundance of great individuals that one meets through it, and because it brings us closer to the culture by connecting us with the locals and their life-style.
Interests
I love discovering new words, foods, places, ways, ideas, methods, music. I'm a discovery man, that's what makes my life engaging, always fresh. This list of words is more than just that, it really does, in one way or another, represent what I love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen airplanes fly. As mundane as that may sound, I think it is fascinating how such immense and heavy objects can fly, period.
I'm still awestrucked each and everytime I am in one and slowly see people, cars, and everything else shrink until they're no longer visible. It boggles my mind. This, to me, is truly amazing, shows the great capacity of humanity.
Traveling to 26 different countries and taking part in some pretty great events like the Tomatina and Las Fallas in Spain, the Mud Festival in South Korea, and others I find pretty amazing and I'm ever-thankful that I had a chance to do it.
