ABOUT ME

I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I'm the middle of five kids and I love talking to almost any kind of people. I take samples of mannerisms and mentalities and express the reflection of how they speak to me. People say I'm intense but that might just be me adjusting to my environment. I consider myself a useful person to have around, and compelled to be the man to help. I used to worship Irony but lately acting contrary to expectation is just part of who I am. Love to cook, love to drink, love to love conversation.

I like making distinctions and connections.

Relevant information about me for hosts: I am almost timidly mild-mannered and polite as a form of courtesy, but as I gauge how much of my inner self is allowed by how our personalities interact I will relax the shield and be the me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a few couches in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Provided that I am not away, I would love to be able to show a little bit of my culture to someone new.
I also encourage people to break out of the trust shell of social norms and get involved with Couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted about as much as I've surfed but it's been a while. I've hosted and been hosted by some really great people, some greater than others and some I felt uncomfortable with at first but as I got to know, felt super safe around.

I got to play with some bees without a suit on, managing to pilfer some honey.

Riding around on a bicycle with someone until the sun comes up is a recurring awesome way to solidify a new friendship.

I cook and clean
I can make a roux, and so can you! Southern food is my specialty/background but I want to learn how to cook vegetarian.
I'd like to think I'm fairly handy, but learning to be handier is just as good!
