Hello everyone! My name is Andrey. Some years ago, I decided I wanted to build my own house by a lake and live an eco-lifestyle, but stay not far from downtown of Kiev at the same time.
In every big city, it's easy to get swept up into politics and media, but in my private green area where the house is, it almost feels like we're a million miles away from all the drama.

I don't think I can change the world, but I can certainly change myself and my surroundings then; make the situation better and nicer for people around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love adventures, new experience, interesting people… Traveling is one of the doors to this. This is why I travel a lot and try to make sure to have a room for Couchsurfers when I’m in Kiev. Even if it’s taken, I have an extra sofa in my room, so people can come and stay here.
