I'm very easy-going, respectful, tidy, and polite... also a vegetarian :) I'm a composer, painter, and writer currently based out of Toronto/Montreal/Waterloo, and I am currently the Artistic Director of the Waterloo Region Contemporary Music Sessions, an international workshop/festival for emerging composers, improvisers, and performers of contemporary music. I moved to Canada when I was 4 - I'm still fluent in my native Polish, and often translate Polish poetry into English. I love meeting new people and few things are as lovely as a good conversation. I travel frequently to visit my partner in Burlington Vermont, especially through Montreal (where I'm hoping to move to for good shortly).

I once (twice, actually) performed a piece of music that involved swinging a speaker and lights on 12 feet of rope over my head for 30 minutes at a time... I performed this at Massey Hall in Toronto for Nuit Blanche in 2009, on a platform built in the rafters, with a harness in case I fell the 30 feet or so to the ground...
