Overview
About Me
Currently I work in Barcelona on my PhD in nanotechnology. I come from Wrocław, Poland, where I spent most of my life, including studying. After 2 years in Spain I feel a bit fed up living there, that's why I take advantage and travel everywhere whenever it's possible. In the future I would like to spend some time (1-2 years) working outside of Europe. One of the considered destinations are Singapore and UAE. After all adventures I am planning to go back to Poland and enjoy my country, which beauty I discovered actually after leaving it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was thinking quite long what I can write here, so as to not sounds like 99% of CS members. It's not that easy :)
I really love travelling, I don't like all-inclusive holidays and fully-guided trips. When I discover a new place, new culture, I am focused on people's behavior and their customs. Not on what's written in a guide, however this can be sometimes interesting. I appreciate meeting hosts, both locals, born in a given place and those who moved to a given place from other one.
So, to sum up: couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to have a contact with REAL, AUTHENTIC life and people in a given country/place

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I need more time, to understand weather was that thing amazing, or I was just stupid... :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I always do my best to fit to you. I love talking about most possible topics (but not football :D), so whenever I meet someone, I am counting on interesting, spontaneous conversation. Especially long debates about cultural differences, countries and its history make me really happy! If you are rather not talkative person, I can share with you any other type of activity. I love walking around, sightseeing (but without pressure like "I must see that building!"). We can also try to cook something together, well I am not good in it, but we can't survive without eating, can we? :)
