About Me

I'm active, open-minded and cheerful person with never-ending curiosity for the world.

CURRENT MISSION
Working hard towards living life to the fullest and putting this idea into practice right away.
meeting people / helping others / volunteering / willing to experience new things, challenging myself / listening to others / taking advices on board and giving them to others

Plans for the forseeable future:
- try hitchhiking
- more weekend getaways from city, backpacking, trekking, bike trips, nature retreat
- if time permits, visit a far more remoted places

What else?
I'm currently pursuing my engineer degree in Mechatronics in AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow. To be honest, my area of studies is not my dream one. I'm planning to gig my sport hooby into a permanent, full-time job someday. I would also imagine myself as nontypical, tailor-made tours guide. During holidays I always take a temporary job in order to make my trips possible and save some money on my sport activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main CS advantage is the possibility of meeting pernament residents of visiting places. Guidances, energy and courtesy offered by them are really precious. :)

I have to mention that I am a student, so my financial capacities are limited. If it wasn't for Couchsurfing, some of my travelling plans wouldn't have been feasible.

Still, as for me, Couchsurfing is not a cheap way of travelling. I consider it as a meaningful experience providing me with the opportunity to share ideas, my cultural identity and give to others the most valuable thing we all have, which is our time.

Interests

Sports (running, cycling, gym), music (rock, metal, old school tracks), open-air festivals, traveling, latin dances, geography, nature, reading about off the beaten track tourist destinations

My daily routine is driven by a quite heavy workload, but it is also adjusted to my interests. I am an expert in finding time for what I want to do.

I enjoy social activities so I often have a night on the town. I particitape in a plenty of an interesting events (concerts, travelling coachings, culture), which are commonplace in Cracow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
- Rock'n'roll

Movies & Books:
I don't care so much about movies or reading which maybe I should care more about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have finished two marathon, this year I have broken the magic barrier of 3 hours. It's worth saying that two years before from that time I couldn't run for more than 1km.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach
I can teach you some Polish words. :) If you are interested in taking up some sport activity, I can teach you some very simple trics, which will definitely improve your shape, well-being and nutrition habbits. Don't be scared, when I'm on the road, I forget about being fit. :)

Learn
I have real enthusiasm and flair to listen about their travelling experiences, especially the craziest ones. I love people who know how to share their passions and inspire others.

Share
If you're interested in something particular from Poland - just let me know, music, movies, some food/beverage or pictures, just anything :)
