ABOUT ME

I am a normal, sarcastic Czech girl(: In 2010 I was literally on my Gap Yah in Spain for kind of spiritual, cultural, educational exchange thing called Erasmus(: (see: youtube Gap Yah video, funny) Now, after finishing my MSc in Sustainable Rural Development in Tropics and Subtropics moved to London work and stay here for a while (not only love it here, but want to save money for more travelling and especially volunteering abroad)

Also want to finish my MSC in Economic and Cultural Studies (plan: finish diploma thesis in India)

PHILOSOPHY

Mindful living. With this you can't make a mistake(:
I really like to practise Kyudo=The Way of The Bow (Japanese archery).
I would like to learn how to pray (I beleive practising humility is important)
I like meditation (especially loving-kindness).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Due to the finishing my uni and housing situation lately wasn't very active since I came back from Asia last summer... Once a have a stable place to live, CS again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was in Iran and it was perfect, then few more countries, all hosts were great, thank you so much!

兴趣

Travelling, sports (almost any kind - tennis, beach volleyball, snowboarding etc.), I love jumping on trampoline, skiing - also water ski jumping is fun; music, film and other festivals. I am not a violent person, but enjoy paintball, lasergame. And I also like peaceful stuff as reading, cultural stuff, music etc.
I love to play board games - really, is there anything better than friends-board games-great food?
I danced a bit Bollywood/Indian dances, lovely,joyful...

I wanna focus on resuscitating my Spanish...

Also have to admit I've been quite active in attending different talks and activities connected to spiritual (or lets say more conscious) living. I don't think the supermarket spiritual mentality is perfect, but I am glad it is possible to get to know different practises so easily nowadays.

Jazz, soul, funky, reggae, vocal bands, classical music - especially piano minimalism, folk, oldies...
I dislike electronic music and disco.

In English I like reading garbage literature, usually full of vampires and werewolfs(: Lately had to read school stuff mainly and for myself spiritual stuff (it sounds more acceptable in English than in Czech to me) My heart resonates more with it, probably because I am not over-thinking everything in English as in Czech.

Films... I like almost anything except stupid films and horrors. My favourite is Monty Pythons, Jára Cimrman, Asian movies(I like when I expect the worst and something even worse than the worst happens)
Bollywood films(I like to waste five hours of my life to find out if it ends with happy ending or happy happy ending)
And cartoons(: And old films from 1920s when everyone was nice and polite.
There are so many things...
