Other than travelling my two greatest passions are medicine and sports: I am a cardiology resident currently working in the city of Lyon, France and in my (very little) spare time I do jogging, calisthenics and acrobatics.
I used to practice a wide variety of phisical activities: martial arts, parkour, freerunning, hiking, swimming, climbing etc but now as my schedule is really really busy I just do what I can to stay phisically and metally fit.

Amongst my other interests are psychology ( especially the writing of Freud on psychoanalysis), literature ( passionate about russian classics - read almost everything written by Dostoievski, I also like the writings of Camus, Aldous Huxley, Fowels, Kafka), cinematography ( especially Godard), paintings (Goya, Jean-François Millet, Caravaggio) .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Saying that I like travelling would be redundant as who doesn't right? But what I enjoy from time to time is just putting on a backpack and hitting the road all by myslef, it can get a bit lonely though so this is where couchsurfing comes into play ..
