Overview
About Me
I'm new to the solo backpacking world. Have just started off on my first trip solo around Southeast Asia and looking to experience everything its got to offer. From the culture, people and definitely the food. Travelling from city to city is such a great way to learn about the local people and customs. Watching travel videos and reading about these things are not as surreal as being there in the flesh. I know I've been that person there envying other people travel adventures.
I love getting out and about to meet new people from around the world. Sharing cultures and experiences in the process. I hope to also make long lasting friendships along my journey.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To visit new cities and learn things about the city from locals or expats living there. Cultural exchange with new people from different backgrounds and upbringing. And also make long lasting friendships.
Interests
Love exploring a new city by walking around and listening to all the sounds. You get a real good sense of how people live in these city/towns by closing your eyes and using your ears.
Hiking everywhere to find the best viewpoints and of course for the amazing sunsets is also a favourite activity of mine.
I'm an avid sports and outdoors type of person.
A good party or two is great way to release off steam from a busy day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Vietnam (March 2018):
The magical views from the top of Mua Cave in Ninh Binh is one of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in my life. The trek up the stairs was totally worth the breathtaking views from the top. From the peak, the green rice fields and winding river in Tam Coc appear exactly like the photos in Google Images 😊. Climbing across the dragon statue and sketchy rocks was absolutely daring and fulfilling. So much peace and freedom!
Thailand (March 2018):
The sunset at Pai Canyon. Truely a wonder to see with the amazing backdrop and landscape :)
