I'm a explore in heart and love to travel. I have a blog site that has been dedicated to share my stories and experience to everyone. I love to backpack and eventually would love to take what I enjoy and explore the world, most likely using couchsurfing as a tool. I am now settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma and married with two beautiful children. But this doesn't stop me from exploring my limits and life journey.

As for Oklahoma it's been portrayed as dry, green, flat boring place with indians and teepees. But what I say is that a long lifer living in Oklahoma has it's riches and beauty. Many friends and I have traveled within and near Oklahoma to explore in,

hiking, backpacking, fishing, biking, rock climbing, boating, and many more.

Oklahoma is also near several popular states like Kansas City, Dallas Texas, Colorado, Missouri and Arkansas.

Arkansas is many personal favorite state to visit, especially for hiking and backpacking.

Anyways I can rant all day but I'm sure your stay or my visit would be exciting and worth the journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Both my wife and I eventually want to travel around the world to experience the life and culture of the world. We would like to use couchsurfing as a means to travel with budget but many to submerge ourselves with raw local culture. But in the mean time we would like to eventually take in travels as hosts. We would love to share stories and experience as travels ourselves but to also share our experiences here in Oklahoma to other travelers.

Interests

I am a adrenaline junky and love physical activities and very much so with friends. I have recently come into an addiction to indoor rock climbing and bouldering. I have participated many sorts of activities from marathons to warrior dash obstacle courses. But most of all I love to hangout with my family and doing crazy physical things. So if you catch me, I'm sure doing some sort of physical activity with a smile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The two most amazing challenges I have done is completing a full marathon and completing the full circuit around Big Bend Texas called Outer Mountain Loop. The Big Bend is listed as 30 mile loop but it felt like 60 miles, finished up in 2 days. The Marathon I ran was in Tulsa, Ok Route 66 Marathon with a total of 26.2 miles which I finished up at 5:26:17.
