Hi, I’m Andy Denson! I’m a Filipino-American filmmaker, actor, and storyteller originally from Colorado, now happily based in Cebu City, Philippines. I've been making film since 1998.

I’m passionate about creating meaningful art that reflects diverse voices and stories. As an actor, I’ve been fortunate to appear in projects like Almost Paradise, Black Pepper, and my upcoming work in The Yellow Hotel and Must Love Askals.

But beyond work, I thrive on meeting people, sharing stories, and learning about different cultures. Hosting on Couchsurfing feels like a perfect way to combine my love for community and creativity.

I believe storytelling isn’t limited to films—it’s in every conversation, meal shared, or adventure explored with someone new. Hosting gives me a chance to welcome people into my world and learn about theirs. Plus, Cebu is such an inspiring place, and I love showing visitors why it’s special to me!

I'm currently listening to Chapell Roan! I love all types of music. One of my favorite films of all time is Ghost World (2001). For books I love Noli Me Tangre, El Filibusterismo and Lotus Sutras.
