I am a 30 year old Marine Engineer who prefers to be on the move. I pile all my spare time into motorbikes, films, reading and socialising. This year I finally managed to start a lifelong dream of travelling the world on a motorbike. I am brand new to couch surfing but I'm already finding it such an amazing way to meet and connect with new people.

Having always been fascinated with engines and mechanics I was lucky enough to turn it into a profession, starting out as a car mechanic and moving onto heavy machinery and mechanical engineering.

I love nothing more than getting out for a motorbike ride.

I'll read anything but have a proclivity for sci-fi. This is the same with films.

I drink but my clubbing days have slipped away from me, I much prefer a pub or a bar where you can sit and talk.

I will have a go at anything, I don't like the idea of looking back and knowing I missed an opportunity.

I have a particular vice for orange chocolate.
