Resumen
Sobre mí
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I've been hosting people at my place for ages, mostly when they are in town playing gigs I've organised around Brighton. I've also relied on the Couchsurfing community through other people whilst on tour around mainland Europe over the last few years.
It's amazing how this works, but I've only just created a profile.
I'm about to do a bit of bumbling around the country / planet and so figured it's time to get a profile together :D
My first mission is to find somewhere for a group of four to stay this weekend when visiting Bournemouth. High hopes!
Intereses
I'm very much into music, art in all its forms, exploring the world, meeting new people, maintaining existing relationships, promoting positivity, stuff and things :)
I watch a lot of movies, I stopped watching TV when I was 15. I didn't vote since I was 18, but then I did this year - I voted Green. In Brighton we can!
I'm interested in pretty much everything but think I'm terribly undernourished with facts and information - I guess this to be symptom of our over informative and stimulating world. Making sense of things is cool.

Música, películas y libros
Musical tastes are hugely varied. I have a soft spot for Sade, and my fav band as a kid was Guns N Roses. Went through Nirvana with the rest of the world, went through a huge Drum n Bass obsession before it all went *CAPOW* at some point and all sort of melted together. My favourite stuff atm is Bhangra, Spongebob Squarewave, Merzbow + Full of Hell, Blake Mills and Yowie.
Films I like are things like Documentaries about the LEGO company, Going Clear about Scientology and the like... I also really dig slightly surrealist stuff like Her, Eternal Sunshine and yeah... anything a bit odd. I'm quite into lefty stuff / causes and outsider - isn things.
Books wise, I love autobiographies, but also love classic literature, stuff like Doors Of Perception, On The Road, The Trial and Day of The Triffids. I'm currently reading a book called Irrationality and recently read a book about stealing people's identities. Interesting stuff.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I got into France on tour the other month using a driving license that was in pieces, because I had forgotten my passport. On my return, I couldn't get into the pub in Brighton using the same license :)
We were in a group consisting of French, South African, British and Greek Passports / citizens. All very confusing, but the power of total full on belief got us through that gate. HA!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I work in a college so education is sort of my remit. I'm an enabler and a sharer fundamentally, and love supporting the networks that I take part in, both touring, DIY music stuff, travelling, open networks, etc etc.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Its nice to live in a city like Brighton that provides so much for visitors, so I have that! Also I have a beer fridge which is nice, and a little garden, so that's there for use, for BBQ and stuff. I can drive too so there's some potential for going places outside of the city. I also have quite a few contacts around Europe so can help out with onward travel if I can / people have a use for that.
