I am a traveler, explorer, and student of the world. I have worked for Princess Cruises for 5 years traveling all their itineraries around the world so I've gotten to see a glimpse. I am now trying to travel the world with my girlfriend Brianne and New Zealand has always been #1 on our list. We met there working on cruise ships and now we want to hopefully live there for a year. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love meeting new people and we love thrifting. We don't want to spend money if we don't have to because we're not wealthy people in terms of money, we consider ourselves wealthy in life experiences. We have known lots of people that highly recommend Couchsurfing and hopefully someday we can be a couple that hosts others.

Interests

Anything outdoors really. I love sports and pretty much play anything you can throw at me. I'm trying to learn sailing and spear fishing while in New Zealand. I'm an avid Photographer always doing something with my camera. Brianne is a fantastic cook/baker. She is a dancer/performer with a Bachelor's degree. She is also a trained yoga instructor for children and she is currently getting involved in aerial silks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music. Classical in the morning when I wake up or I'm doing lots of work. Classic Rock for most of the day Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Super Tramp. If I'm trying to get pumped up I love Coldplay, One Republic, Fun, American Rejects. I grew up on Country and old school rap. Since I'm a film guy I follow more Director's than actual movies but my favorite Directors are: Martin Scorsese (Casino, Gangs of New York, Goodfellas) Christopher Nolan (Momento, Inception, Batman Trilogy, Interstellar) Danny Boyle (Transpotting, The Beach, Slumdog Millionaire).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a 5 day Salkantay Trek through the Andes Mountains outside of Cuzco, Peru on route to the famous Machu Picchu. We camped under the stars and hiked with wild horses through jungles and sat in hot springs. It was my most memorable event in my life so far. I'm hoping New Zealand takes the cake though.

I can teach Photography and Video. Lots of different sports. I'm always willing to learn anything and everything, I'm interested in how to better take care of our planet and how we as human beings can help one another succeed in this life and be happy.
