I'm into the outdoors, gardening, cycling, canoeing, mountains. I have two wonderful grown up daughters, I play guitar and enjoy meeting new people, and can show you around my part of England (the Lake District) if I have time. I hope to make some trips myself. I've lived in a few different countries and done a variety of different jobs in the past, teaching art, running a pottery business, carpentry. I have also hosted Refugees for short periods of time.

Penrith is an attractive market town near where the film "Withnail and I" was made and is good if you are travelling north or south.
