Overview
About Me
I'm just one guy trying to figure out life. Right now I'm trying to clear my head by 'taking a walk around the world to ease my troubled mind.' After losing my leg in a gruesome motorcycle accident and having a very "interesting" life I figured that the best thing for me is to try to understand the world the best I can and in turn hopefully learn more about myself and where I want to go in life. I've always been like this though so I guess the best way to describe me in one word would be 'curious.' I'm a pretty dorky person at the end of the day though with some odd quirks but once you get to know me I'm positive that we can get along and even become really good friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I've learned that best way to experience a place is through the locals, I feel like no matter what you see or do the best memories you can make are the one's that involve the people you meet. Although right now I can't host anyone, one day I plan on hosting as many Surfers as I can to be that person that helped them fully experience wherever I end up.
Interests
I'm a pretty simple to please kind of guy, as long as there's the right kind of company I'm pretty down to do anything. I prefer a little underground stuff everywhere I go, those little restaurants, shops, entertainment that you really gotta know someone to find. Those hidden gems are really what make a place unique and that's really what I'm looking for everywhere I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Metallica(my favorite), Five Finger Death Punch, Led Zeppelin, Jimmi Hendrix, Rise Against, The Misfits, Benny Goodman, anything swing and rock really, except Nu metal.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Exactly one month after my amputation surgery I went on a spontaneous trip to San Diego, California where I went to the Cabrillo national monument, the world famous Zoo, downtown, and beaches all on crutches.
Teach, Learn, Share
There's not a lot I can teach anyone. Seeing as I really strayed away from my Mexican heritage I don't know all too much, but I can teach you some survival Spanish and just what I do know about Mexican culture. I'd like to learn more about all the world cultures and their histories because at the end of the day a place's culture is strongly determined by there history and slowly unraveling that history and embracing yourself into that culture sounds like a liberating experience.
