My name's Andy and I'm a business student at the University of Maryland, College Park. This May I'll be graduating college and I want to spend my summer travelling across Europe, meeting new people, and enjoying life before I start work in July.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to travel and meet new people. I've never couchsurfed before, but I've heard a lot of great stories about people who have, and I'm very excited to try it out! I love to go sightseeing and try new food in other countries, but I've never really had much contact with the locals. To immerse myself into the culture of each country I travel to, I'd like to see what locals actually live like and get their recommendations on what to try/do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pretty much all kinds of music. I can sit back and relax to alternative or country music just as easily as I can rock out to EDM and rap/hip-hop. I'm currently starting the Game of Thrones books, and after watching the full series to this point I can't wait to dive into those. I love comedies and action movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience I've had is visiting Europe for a week last spring. I traveled to Milan and Cinque Terre in Italy, and Paris, France. Hiking the paths in Cinque Terre was one of the coolest things I've ever done for sure, and words cannot describe the beauty of Paris. Unfortunately I was only able to go for a few days to each city, but I'm excited to get back out and explore Europe some more!
