I travel half of the year, often solo, often to places tourists do not know exist, let alone venture into. I am a fan of cruises and all adventures, on sea and on land.

I really enjoy diving into the real culture and people of the places I visit, rather than the facade or show that you get from hotels and tourist areas. Seeing the popular spots is okay, but the real fun happens in the real world you experience.

Last year I went on two separate 10+ week long solo trips. In Peru I climbed Rainbow Mountain, which was very difficult seeing as I get dizzy going to my mailbox... I am on a mission to hit 100 countries within 5 years, including solo-sailing 43K miles around the earth, so i will hold my answer to this section until after that, ha!
