I usually try to make time as a host to be available to hang out, although I can’t 100% guarantee it —especially if the booking is short notice—.
I’m an outgoing, friendly person. I try to get to know all my guests without prying too much. As a guest I try to accommodate to my host and am comfortable doing what they’re doing, even if it’s not the most exciting. I’m happy to help with chores and it’s always nice to be helped with the chores if you’re staying with me. I don’t like visiting tourist traps for the most part, but I will if there’s nothing better to do. Sport stadiums, museums, and dive bars are my go to spots to visit if I’m out of town, and also libraries and quiet places. I do like parties, but my social battery has its limits.🔋

House Rules:

Please don’t bring strangers into my home.
Let me know approximately when you will arrive. I will try to meet you at the house.
If you are hungry, you are welcome to the food I have, but ask first.
Stay in the common areas of the house. Living room, kitchen, bathroom, front yard, backyard.
If you are to arrive late at night, be considerate that I have work most days of the week and try to be quite at night.
Be hygienic, and don’t be stinky
Leave the house in the same condition as you found it.
If more than 2 guests, please be mindful that it is not a huge house. I’ll try to accommodate sleeping arrangements, but I only have 2 bathrooms total.
If you use dishes, cutlery. Clean up after yourself, I’m not trying to become a maid.
If you break the rules enough times, I’ll probably just ask you to leave, just throwing that out there.

Host, and eventually be hosted :) Cheap and funner than staying in an airbnb or a hotel. I’d rather make memories —whether they are good or not so good— than be boring.

I don’t watch a lot of tv, I’d rather be out of the house but I do like to go watch a movie at the theatre every once in a while. If I’m absolutely too tired to go out, I will put on a tv show as background noise while I do a puzzle!

Can teach or play pool 🎱 with guests. I play a few instruments very badly: saxophone, violin, guitar. I have a karaoke machine if you are interested in singing a few songs.
I’d like to try to get into making all the different soup recipes I have, so I can offer soup making services.
I can teach you about chickens, and you may also pet some of my chickens, free eggs for everyone.
