About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To spread the wealth of adventure and joy to all that I meet.
ABOUT ME
I am a very genuine, friendly person who is always willing to try something new. I can make fun out of any situation and love making people around me happy. I live to positively impact other people's lives with inspiration and positivity.
PHILOSOPHY
We are all of one race, humans. Although we have different ideas and ways of life, there is no reason we can't all get along and learn from each other. I live my life to learn as much as I can about everything I can. Experiences, good or bad, make us stronger people. Everything in life is simply what you make of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I tried couchsurfing a couple of years ago but really enjoyed the hostel aspect as it was my first real adventure. Now, I have met people from all over the world and want a more personal experience with the city I am visiting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am still fairly inexperienced with the organization but the few experiences I have had have been very positive. I would like to participate more in this connection of people from all over the world.
Interests
I love meeting people from all walks of life. I find people different than me very unique and interesting. I spend my time trying new things and gaining new hobbies as much as I can. Meeting new people keeps my life interesting and brings these new things into my life.
- traveling
- socializing
- outdoor activities
Music, Movies, and Books
Although I am not very artistic, I seem to enjoy almost all movies, music, and books I come across. This is because I try to appreciate the art of each one rather than judging them to my preferred tastes. I read educational books over novels because I enjoy learning as much as possible. I prefer adventure and comedy movies. I see music as the single most opinionated form of entertainment. For this reason I am open to every type of music there is. I prefer music with musicianship over electronic music but can groove to anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was travelling through the hill towns of Tuscany and Umbria, Italy on a low budget for about a week. I had to spend a few nights of that week sleeping on the streets because of this. One evening I was in Cortona about to go choose my secluded outdoor sleeping spot when a man started a conversation with me. After thirty minutes of conversation and an invite to sleep on his couch I realized the only reason he started the conversation was because he wanted to offer me his couch. There are some amazing people in the world, pay it forward.
Teach, Learn, Share
The saying "Live everyday like it is your last" is extremely cheesey but seriously, death is unexpected so you may as well plan accordingly.
I want to learn EVERYTHING there is to learn. I know this is impossible but it is a goal of mine that is fun to strive for. I believe that I am a great listener and can learn things from very generic conversations. I especially like to learn new games/hobbies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
This depends on the host but I am very willing to help out around the house to create a positive experience for the both of us. I thoroughly enjoy engaging with people in their activities and see how they live which is why I travel in the end.
