ABOUT ME

I've spent most of my life going through the school system, getting the most out of it - both socially and academically - I've had lots of fun and taken part in a lot of cool stuff.
Now, however, I love the freedom that not being in such a strict system allows me. I love meeting new people, and most of the enjoyment I get out of travelling is social. I love being in new places, meeting new people everyday!
I live for having fun, I try to what I want when I want, hopefully sweeping some new and interesting people along with me. I'm always positive, and really enjoy that special kind of excitment that comes with not knowing exactly where you're going to sleep that night, or where you'll end up on a night out.
My main aim in life is to have a good time, and to try and experince everything - so far it's been fun.

PHILOSOPHY

Relativism - not necessarily a sound way to look at the world, however I can't help feeling that everything is subjective, nothing really matters on a global scale. It's only what matters to you that really counts, so as long as you keep your mind open and do what you think is right, have fun, and enjoy the world, who should worry?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I actually joined about a year ago - on the suggestion of a friend - but have never got around to using the community. I can't wait to host my first surfer!

I'm also a member of hospitality club, and stayed with quite a few people when I was travelling across Europe. They were amazing experiences, I only hope this group can be as good!

Intereses

I love developing new skills, being from learning how to play a new instrument, learning a new language, or someone teaching me how to knit! I think it's a wonderful thing to be able to make things.
I really enjoy the outdoors, be it hiking, biking, taking quiet walks, canoeing, or working; I especially enjoy the woods - there's nothing quite like a forest.
Movies, reading, art - making and observing - are all other interests.
To be honest, there isn't much that doesn't interest me.

Hmm, so many skills and things I want to learn/could teach aren't necessarily concrete. How many times have you learnt to look at the world differently because of someone you met?
If there's something you want to learn and I know how to do it, snap, you've got a teacher! And hopefully vice versa!
