Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used Couchsurfing.com to help out with a cross-country road trip over the summer. Now I'm living in a home again and have the space to offer to other folks traveling around.

Interests

Teach, Learn, Share

In 2013 I took a semester off from University, fundraised, and put together a volunteer teaching project in the Himalaya of Nepal. I spent 5 weeks teaching English, math, art, and hygiene to a group of adolescent boy monks, and lived with them at a Buddhist monastery near the Everest region. I spent another 3 weeks traveling on foot from village to village in the Sagarmatha National Park. Yea, that's near Mount Everest!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can fix things in your home. I'm a carpenter, a cabinet maker, and generally handy person. I don't mind cooking and doing dishes either!
