One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When stewarding at festival last year (08) an extremely distressed child approached me having lost her mother. The other steward and myself took her to the welfare tent where there were some lovely people who look after any lost children till their parents are found. She was truly inconsolable, hardly being able to speak due to the tears. A while later, with the incident having been replaced in my present thoughts, a lady walked briskly up to me, inconsolable that she had lost her daughter. A smile quickly spread across my face. 'Come along with me!' I said. The sight of their joy as they embraced shall always remain with me. That both of them approached me in very different areas was a wonderful coincidence!
