ABOUT ME

I developed the travel bug about 6 years ago during my first ever solo backpacking trip to SE Asia, and the desire to see other countries and meet people from around the world has since pretty much taken over my life.

I recently became a self employed illustrator and designer, and thanks to the internet I'm lucky enough to be able to work from wherever there's a good connection.

I recently arrived in Barcelona where I'll be staying for a few months. I'm hoping to significantly improve my Spanish whilst I'm here (which is currently appalling), and I'm also looking forward to doing all the touristy stuff and meeting some people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Big Lebowski is perhaps my favourite, but so many more to even remember. I'll try almost anything, unless it involves Jason Statham.

Music: Air, The Black Seeds, Daft Punk, Bowie, The Doors, Empire of the Sun, Goldfrapp, Hifana, Neon Neon, Pendulum, Pink Floyd, Pulp, Röyksopp, Trentemøller, and lots of other stuff.

Books: I recently enjoyed reading the Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larrson, The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga and Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking, which was excellent and very effective.

TV Shows: Flight of the Conchords, The Mighty Boosh.
