About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find myself in a world full of options and to help others do the same.

ABOUT ME

Hey all,

I am now a 30 something male from the middle of the United States. Overall I am pretty laid back, and love trying new things every chance I get. Such is what drew me to the site; the chance to meet some great new friends was too much of an opportunity to pass up. So many great people have hosted me and come through my home, I can't begin to describe how awesome my experience has been and, hopefully, will continue to be.

When it comes to life, I usually have something to say. I love to press the limits, cross the lines, see how far my wit and mind can take me in any situation. I don't fear or fret on saying the wrong thing, and I don't hesitate to fly by the seat of my pants. If I make a mistake I always try to smile and learn from it for the next time. I love taking risks, and gambling on the odds, it's like the old saying, you can't win if you don't play, and life is the biggest game we all take part in.

I do have a few priorities in my life though. Family, friends, cars, learning, music, it goes on for a while and gets a little more hazy as you progress. I love going to car shows, hunting, shooting guns, hanging out with friends be it at a bar, or in the living room playing video games.

Basically though if you want to meet a fun, open, talkative and entertaining guy drop me a line and we can get to know one another.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life like there's no tomorrow... There may not be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am open to putting anyone traveling up for a couple nights and getting to know them. I love the idea of helping those that are adventurous enough to try this site and step out of the normal comfort zones.

Further I can usually find a way to have a good time . I love riding motorcycles and if any of you find your way into TN. I have a garage with more then enough room to house your bike so you can sleep worry free. I know what its like, trust me!

There is always a roof to relax under, food to be eaten, and a nice hot shower to be had at my place. Who knows, I might be asking for the same from you someday!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I rode my Harley out to California up the coast and back. I stayed with some great people and have made some friends for life. I have also had the pleasure of hosting many individuals that have been wonderful through out their stay. I look forward to the continuation of this trend through surfing and hosting!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all movies, though I find it hard to sit through the crappy horror stuff that has come out lately. Music I am across the boards, everything from classical to opera to rock to electronica. I don't have a lot of time to read outside of my studies but when I can get a free book in I like fantasy and sci fi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think going to Berlin Germany on my own for a week while in High School was pretty adventerous.

Rode my Harley From wichita, through the desert to San Diego up the coast to the bay area and back through the mountains to Wichita solo. 5000+ miles of open rode, staying with strangers, and living out of a bag that is half the size of a suitcase for three weeks. I would say that's up there as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I am pretty handy with a wrench and have been called a jack of all trades more then once. Thanks to my degree studies I am also fairly competent when it comes to anthropological discourse, political theory, globalization, and the basics of psychology.

Countries I’ve Visited
