About Me

Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to connect with you all. I've been living in Toronto since 2019, but soon my partner, Carol, and I will be making the move to beautiful British Columbia. This will be our first time exploring the province, and we're eager to meet new friends who can introduce us to the local culture, show us around, and suggest must-visit places. We're hoping to find a cozy spot to call home. We're open-minded and flexible when it comes to plans, trying new activities, exploring new destinations, and sampling different cuisines. Both Carol and I share a deep love for nature; I was born in a small town in Colombia called Barrancabermeja, while Carol grew up in the Chilean Patagonia. Our shared passion for travel has always led us to immerse ourselves in diverse cultures and lifestyles, and we're excited to continue this journey in BC.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As we embark on our adventure in BC, we're eager to embrace new friendships and create meaningful connections. It's a journey well worth pursuing, and Couchsurfing facilitates this process by bringing people together.

Interests

We're passionate about outdoor activities; anything that blends adventure with nature immediately captures our interest. We're eager to engage in pursuits that offer opportunities to learn from others' worldviews while discovering more about ourselves and exploring new skills. Whether it' s travelling, practicing sports, or mastering dance moves, we're enthusiastic about staying active and embracing movement.

We approach life with open arms, valuing each experience it brings our way so volunteering and lending a helping hand in personal or community projects will also bring us genuine joy and fulfillment

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, we're drawn to a diverse range of genres, from electronic and Latin beats to pop and rock—anything with infectious rhythms gets our toes tapping. Our favorite movies include iconic sagas like 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Harry Potter. We also find ourselves captivated by books such as 'The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari' and 'Women Who Run with the Wolves,' each offering insights and inspiration for personal growth and exploration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For three unforgettable weeks, we embarked on a journey across Chile from the majestic landscapes of the North to the unexplored wilderness of the Chilean Patagonia. Camping under the stars, hitchhiking through picturesque routes, and immersing ourselves in the wilderness of multiple natural parks. We uncovered the true essence of adventure. Along the way, we had the pleasure of meeting wonderful friends who enriched our experiences. Our time traversing Chile provided invaluable lessons about the strength and depth of our partnership.
