ABOUT ME

I'm originally from the north of England but now really enjoying living in the south coast in Bournemouth where I work at the airport. I love being so close to the beach and also being part of the CS community there.

PHILOSOPHY

I really love the quote from Bear Grylls:

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, covered in scars, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming: 'Yahoo, what a ride!!'

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy getting to know different people from CS in Bournemouth and we have some fun meetings at the pub or on the beach. I'm looking forward to really making the most of CS on my next travels and meeting some local people and getting off the typical tourist trail a bit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have some great friends through Couchsurfing and it was a perfect way for me to meet new and interesting people when I moved to a new town. I've had a really positive experience from it and am sure there'll be many more experiences to come...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Travelling for 7 months with my sister in 2008 was the most incredible and I'll remember it forever. I was also lucky enough to travel again through South America for a few months in 2013 where the most incredible thing was to climb Mt Chimborazo in Ecuador throughout the night and see the sunrise from the top.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach the ukulele, and would love to learn some classical latin / Spanish style music on my guitar as at the moment I'm limited to mainly Oasis and Coldplay songs!
