我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I just like being able to actually meet and interact with locals in the places I'm visiting. Hostels and hotels are so impersonal and there is nothing like being able to share your culture and lifestyle with someone else.

兴趣

I love anything that I can do in an area, especially things I can only do in that area. When I lived in Japan, I joined a yosakoi team and travelled to competitions with them. I loved skiiing in the mountains of Hokkaido that were constantly covered in powder. I love taking photos when I'm in new surroundings. The daily lives of people living in different places are so interesting so I love capturing that with my camera.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love all kinds of music but recently I've been getting all my music from the Hype Machine - so mostly indie, lots of remixes. Also love irish music, rap, rock.

Books - I've been trying to read more novels lately but my regular reading diet consists of non-fiction. Sapiens, Blood River, Emergency Sex, The Art of Learning, Unbroken.
For novels, The Orphan Master's Son, Baron in the Trees, Life of Pi are some of my favourites.

I lived in Japan for two years so have plenty of stories of the crazy stuff over there.
I've travelled around most of NZ and seen some incredibly beautiful places here.

I can teach you to speak Japanese, dance Cuban Salsa to a good social level, and probably a lot of other things.
I love taking photos so can talk about that stuff for hours.
