I've had a good time couchsurfing. This site has a very high percentage of nice people.

Movies: The Young Frankenstein, The Jungle Book, Home Alone 2 ("let's go for a little stroll in the park."), The Jerk, Little Big League, Dream Team, and The Cruise.

Books: East of Eden, Grapes of Wrath, The World According to Garp, One Flew Over The Coo Coo's Nest, A People's History of the United States of America, Hatchet (a great read).
