Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From being here and there, hearing random talks of couch surfing, so I popped online and found it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before my time on couch surfing when I was sharing a place on the great ocean road, I had two great house mates. They said people could stay round any time.
I was working in a coffee shop in town, just a small place with expresso coffee and snacks. It was a quiet place and I'd get people in and out, and we would have a good chat. People would ask if they knew of places they could park there cars for free. Which the answer was of course! In my garden, come on in, use the couch, house and relax!
So started my time as a couch surfer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big fan of the books of Danny Wallace.
I always have a book on the go. Now I'm reading how to think like a monk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My perfect moment of my life was on an island in Thailand.
I decided to do a scuba diving course, going down into the ocean and being able to move left, right, up down was such a new and great experience.
I loved it so much,I decided to do an advanced course. In the advanced course one of the things you have to do is a night dive.
We were given a good torch (flash light) and down we went. I saw my torch, like a light sabour, through the ocean, along with 7 others around me. In the distance we could see the predator fish using our beams to eat their dinner! After 10 minutes, the leader hit her oxygen tank to get our attention, she showed us all to turn of our torches.
One by one the lights around me went out, then mine as well. I opened my eyes, but they were already open, I could see nothing, pitch black. I moved my hands in front of my face, and there in front of me, from the movement of my hands, were tiny plankton that was like how glitter shines in the sun. I looked down, I see nothing. I move my flippers, again I see it, the area of water lights up with the plankton.
All around where ever I move, from left to right up to down, I see pitch black, with beautiful twinkles from my movements.
Was truly amazing!
