About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do, see, feel, experience as much of the world as possible...
ABOUT ME
Gave up crunching numbers in front of a computer all day and working for corporate America and decided I wanted to see and experience the world from different perspectives. Best. Decision. Ever.
I taught English and Math in a small town in Southern Thailand - Ranong for about 2 years and loved it. Made tons of great friends and was able to see so much of SE Asia. Truly a cherished time of my life. Decided to end that chapter and head back to the US for a few but as fate would have it - things don't always go as planned and after getting some wonderful time in with my family, I've made my way to Dubai to continue teaching for a bit and obtain my teaching license in the process. Where the wind will blow me next? Who knows but I am sure enjoying the ride.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel. As much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life's not meant to be lived in one place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking at doing a bit of couch-surfing for now as time off allows. My flat is already pretty small in Dubai with 3 people so hosting may be a bit of a crunch. Maybe upgrade to a larger place soon so I can get back to hosting!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted and I've surfed a handful of times. Made some amazing and lifelong friends in Singapore and Sri Lanka. Very grateful for those!
Interests
My interests include travel (of course!), running (8 marathons and counting!), abandoned buildings, art and design, languages, and learning about cultures from all over the world, and music. absolutely music.
