ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm a nice, respectful, educated, friendly, and open-minded guy. I first started Couchsurfing in Europe in early 2014 after a recommendation from one of my coworkers. I was a bit hesitant at first, but am so glad I did. Since then, I've met 20+ people through the site and have only had positive experiences. What a great way to get to know people and experience different cultures, perspectives, opinions, lifestyles, etc.

I married the love of my life, John, on October 22, 2017. He's funny, sweet, and can talk to just about anyone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've Couchsurfed in Europe, Australia, and in the United States. Hosted my first guests over the summer of 2016...I don't tend to get a lot of requests to host, but love when we do get the opportunity! NOTE: 2018 could be challenging to host as we're currently working to get our home listed for sale until our new home will be built later this year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing but love.

-Meeting a couple in Copenhagen who had been together for decades; they made me breakfast in the morning and played Minnesota Public Radio to make me feel at home.
-Staying with a couple in Vienna who share the same love of board games my boyfriend and I do...and then hosting them for two nights almost a year later in Minnesota.
-Taking my boyfriend to his first gay club in Prague and having heart to heart with two amazing guys.
-Getting engaged on top of Montserrat Mountain outside of Barcelona, and sharing the news with our CS host.

Lifelong memories I'll never forget.
