ABOUT ME

I am young, strong, and intelligent. I'm currently swimming through the nebulous ocean that is life after graduation. For the moment, the only thing I am sure of is that I want to travel and see more of the world. I'm ready to learn about people, get stuck in places for way too long, learn how to get myself unstuck, and see where I fit in with what is around me. As Bob Dylan said, "I'm ready to go anywhere, ready for to fade..."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I appreciate I'm very new to couch surfing and that can be to a certain degree unappealing to some. But I also appreciate that everyone starts somewhere. I plan to be taking my first trip since graduating soon and it will one in which I'll be playing by ear in many respects. I am hoping that the spirit of couch surfing and those who engage in it will lend me a helping hand as I drift from Vancouver to Los Angeles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watch my first nephew grow before my eyes (5 months now).
Jump off the World's highest bungee jump tower.
Jump off a 40 foot cliff into the water.
Motor Scootering in the mountains of Chiang Mai.
Help make two films in 48 hours.
Played a Siamese Twin in a world debut play and be half a half naked for most of it.
Get a degree for reading things and pretending I'm make-believe people.
Fly a 4-person small aircraft.

I enjoy exchanging languages. I would like to learn more crafts like cooking and woodwork.
