We are Ane and Candice. We left South Africa in January 2017 on a two year travelling adventure. We have been living in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) for almost two years. Whilst living in Vietnam we met incredible people, had amazing experiences and made incredible friends. Now we are hitting the road again with a very specific goal: to visit all the visa free countries for South Africans, all 80 of them.

Our favourite part of couch-surfing are the instant friendships formed between strangers, and also experiencing kindness all over the world. We hope to reach our goal, and gain many more amazing friends along the way.

To meet with like-minded people and share stories. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. We are hosting to share laughter, stories, advice, food and drinks.

Now that we will be travelling ourselves, we unfortunately can not host for a while, but we are super excited about surfing.

I (Ane) am not much of a reader - I would much rather listen to stories told by other people. Candice is an avid reader and falls in love with anything written between the covers of a book.

We can offer you a bed and share our Vietnam experience with you. We can also show around the city and introduce some of the amazing food that is on offer here. We have traveled quite a bit within Vietnam so we can give you advice that might make your trip easier. We can also share our experiences in South Africa should you be interested in visiting our beautiful home country.

Please do not stay with us if you just need a place to crash. We want to spend time with you and get to know you.

We know travelling can be a bunch of unforeseen circumstances bundled together but we have weird working schedules, so if we have an arranged time to meet, it's difficult for us to change it, please try your best to keep to the arrangements.
