Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During my time in Singapore in 2009, I was an active member of the community, attending CS meets and surfing with hosts in Malaysia when I went back packing.

Now that I'm back in India, I'm looking forward to hosting some interesting travelers in Mumbai.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Being hosted by the most wonderful host in Kuala Lumpur. Natasha Mannan, I still owe some amazing times to you in a land where I knew nobody.

Catching up with couch surfers at travelers bars and deciding to travel with them. Aruna Warnaztsch, the trip to Ko Phi Phi was something, eh? :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped from a 25 foot cliff into a 90 foot deep section of the river Ganga. This, when I can't swim and am not fond of heights.

Snorkeled off the island of Ko Phi Phi in Thailand in what are probably the clearest blue waters in the world, not to mention the stunning marine life.

Watched the sun rise at Angkor Wat.

Teach, Learn, Share

Polyglots never fail to impress me. So if you know languages that I don't, I'd love to learn. And teach you some in return.

Coming from a city in India that's famous for it's food (hands up those that haven't heard of Hyderabadi Biryani), I enjoy different cuisines and when we're not digging into the local delights, I could cook you a simple Indian meal as well. :)

I'm an adventure seeker. If you're the crazy sort, and have traveling ideas that are out of the ordinary, I'll think about it, and I'll join you.
