Trying to find balance between spending the day doing hundreds of different things without taking a minute to sit down and lying in bed doing nothing for hours. I like to listen and talk, to hang out and be on my own. Enjoy nature and cities, coffee and tea. Drink beer and wine, water is also fine, now this is starting to rhyme and it sounds really weird, I’ll stop right here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like exploring new places on foot – wandering around is the best way to feel the city vibe. Stop to get some good-looking street food, find a bench with a nice view, start a conversation with locals in the park …
If there is a person willing to spend a couple of hours with you, who knows where to get the best ice cream to share on that bench … well, why not?

Apart from the ‘’selfish’’ reasons (:D), I think CS is a great way to get to know people and their culture. Looking forward to hearing some of your stories and sharing some of my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

I was one of the kids who really enjoyed literature classes, so almost everything works for me. The kid inside me also never got tired of Harry Potter, and fantasy novels remain one of my favourites.
As for the music goes, I mostly got stuck on listening old rock songs my parents like. But if there is a small band playing in a local café, any kind of style works perfectly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to do an internship during my year-off at Uni and started looking for places to go to.
Responded to an interesting looking ad and two weeks later, I found myself in China, teaching children.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some Slovenian words – it’s one of the few languages with dual, so there isn’t just ‘’we’’ and ‘’I’’, but also ‘’the two of us’’. It’s supposed to be romantic, you know ;) I probably won’t cook a romantic five-course dinner for you, but I’ll be more than happy to make some pasta or pancakes.
Despite studying psychology, I’m afraid mind reading is off the table. But if I ever take telepathy courses and manage to learn how to do that, I won’t hesitate to reveal everything going on inside your head.
