About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living close to myself together with the three angels of my life: my children Elijah, Joshua & Finley Rae.

ABOUT ME

I'm an open, intuïtive, social, courageous and ambitious person.

PHILOSOPHY

Truth, simplicity & love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting , surfing and travelling.

As I'm recently only living with my three kids in co-parentship, so every other week I have a lot of spare room in my house.

I like to have my own space, yet I am a community person aswell. I love sharing cooking, good food, music, talking, yoga, meditation and believe that we are, as humans, a tribe, a community.

Welcome home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great Coutchsurf experience in Helsinki, Finland, where Sacha did more then just hosting me. I was travelling alone with my two kids at the time and he helped me out with the kids, told me a lot about Finland, and welcoming me in his place before and after my travel in 2010. Another time a beautiful vegan couple came to stay with us. it was very nice sharing together.

Yoga, meditation, nature, ecstatic dance, sweat lodge and mantra singing.

Music: Nahko, Flowering life, Deva Premal, Alela Diane, Mirabai ceiba, Black Flower, Equinox The Peacekeeper.
Movies: Inspirational movies like Are you a freedom seaker?, The Big Green and Frieda.
Books: Paulo Coelho and Isabel Alliende.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving birth was definitely the most ectatic, amazing & lifechanging experience in my life, it was always at home, with a midwife by my side, and one time in water.
Going to the Swiss-Italian Rainbow Gathering; finding myself camping next to a giant waterfall, four hours away from civilisation, in nature so remote that no gsm-signal came past. Then magic happens!
Participating in Ecstatic Dance Belgium: the moment in the dance where I let go, I surrender to the flow of ecstacy that music and dance brings.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching yoga, as if you share what you love, it doesn't feel like teaching, it's sharing you passion.
I love to learn more about yoga, meditation, organising sweatlodges and ceremonies.
I love to share cooking, food, stories, emotions, knowledge, company, children, activities, music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A cosy home, singing mantra's together, making a walk in the Bourgoyen (a beautiful nature park nearby), food, drinks, and off course, company.
