Overview
About Me
I'm a researcher and photographer from Porto Alegre (south of Brazil), that grew up at Recife (northeast of Brazil) and nowadays is in a PhD scholarship at Lyon (France). I study image and imaginary theory, a field of study between Communications, Philosophy, Anthropology and Art History. I love getting to know other cultures and people and hearing their stories. I like to talk, discover new environments, walk long paths, visit all the museums, libraries and bookstores possible and exercise seeing the world through other's eyes. I appreciate everything that is traditional culture and I love all kinds of music. Besides my job and personal likes, I'm someone really concerned with subjects such as human rights, gender and sexual diversity, female, black and popular empowerment, and I'm interested in knowing and discussing social problems such as racism, whiteness, right to housing and proper feeding, en bref, social injustices in general. I've worked as a journalist during some years and studied Social Sciences as well. Last but not least, I'm a cyclist and I have a beautiful handmade bamboo bike!

Music, Movies, and Books
As a daughter of a brazilian musician, I think I can really appreciate a lot of kinds of music. If I need to specify, all the way, I would say I really love folk, world music and soultronic/downtempo stuff. Cinema for me is an art, what means I don't like blockblusters very much. I love paper and stories, so books are a permanent company in my life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe it was hitchhiking through Brazil when I was 22 years old, making in 15 days the distance from Rio de Janeiro to Recife with truck drivers. Other big adventure was being a member of the Occupy Movement back in 2011-2012. Also creating a cinema club at my university when I was 19.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a motto of life that states that everyone that knows something can teach something. So, having in mind that everyone definetly knows something, here we have a way to share abundance.
What I Can Share with Hosts
