ABOUT ME

Just finished my third year as an art student at Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Right now, I'm spending a few months in Berlin, Germany, to study art, and am loving it.

I was born and raised in North Carolina, in the southeast of the United States. It's a pretty laid-back place with lots of friendly people, and I generally like to live up to that mentality!

On that note, I'm hoping that the Couchsurfing network will allow me to make some new friends, see some great places, and try lots of new things!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm pretty new to couchsurfing, but I've surfed a few times in Scotland, the Netherlands, and France, and have had awesome experiences each time!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Where to start?? Love the beatles. I also really like the mountain goats, the avett brothers, the fratellis, the dresden dolls, bob dylan, weezer, sigur ros, modest mouse, debussy, neutral milk hotel, bright eyes, the yeah yeah yeahs...plus any music that is fun to dance to :)

I like to read a lot too - but variety is key. Kerouac, Kafka, Michael Chabon, Jane Austen, you name it. Currently reading Love in the Time of Cholera, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
