About Me

i usually describe myself in a professional way... photographer, graphic designer working in the music industry... hard to say who i am if i am not what i do.

i enjoy an active lifestyle, not necessarily being outdoors in the nature and hiking all the time but hitting the gym, going bouldering, running, cycling. i have tried kitesurfing which was also so much fun, i love snowboarding (haven't done it in years, but i still love it).

i am generally a funny person and love socialising but this appears obvious only if you know me for a while or i am feeling really confident for some reason, because otherwise i am pretty quiet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i'm on couchsurfing since 2016 and after i moved to australia in 2018, i forgot it existed. all these years i was staying at hotels or crashing at friend's places, however, now i feel that i am ready to leave the benefits of hotels behind and meet people, maybe create connections that last longer than the stays.

Music, Movies, and Books

my music taste varies from time to time, it can be rock, pop, electronic, techno. i avoid rap and don't vibe with punk rock, metal is on the edge.

i am not a movie person.. never seen 'the godfather', cannot relate to 'star wars' references, my watchlist consists of 'pulp fiction', 'the clockwork orange' and similar, very publicly acclaimed movies but i never have time nor energy to watch them. best of what i've witnessed was 'triangle of sadness', 'last dance' and 'beautiful boy'.

books... well... what about 'un/masked' by elizaveta parodina? this book represents what i like the best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

didn't give up to the pressure of studying or doing something more serious for a job than being a creative.

Teach, Learn, Share

for a while i had a youtube channel where i was 'teaching' photoshop. i put teaching in quote because it was more like talking to a camera while editing on photoshop. i had to stop because of how time consuming this project was yet it still holds an important place in my heart.

i'd like to learn another language or... how to properly shoot in a studio (haha, i am the things that i do...), or learn how to drive!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

if i have my camera with me i can offer a portrait! if i don't i can share a meal or (as one of my friend's have on his couchsurfing profile) — the silence. i am really good at being quiet and not interupting.
