One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I was living in Jakarta. Big city. Could be already 20 million people. Life is very tough there. I got to know our hostel cleaning /laundry lady and got to know her family and some facts about her life. We would be talking a lot every day because she really want to practice her English. Some days her sons would come to work with her. Everyone who has been in Indonesia knows how tough it an be to walk down the street as "bule" and be chased from local beggars to get some money.. Sometimes it's really people who don't want to work and sometimes it happens just because you're "bule" - a cash machine. Anyway.. That was not the case with my laundry lady, she was sweet, happy, humble person always asked fair prices for the laundry amount. Maybe I'm naive but I paid for her son's dentist that is quite expensive for her in Indonesia.. By seeing her and her sons happy faces I felt truly touched. And I feel like it was one of the most amazing moments/feelings /things that recently happened with me.

As I am moving to Mallorca I would like to learn Spanish. I can teach some English, German or Russian. :)
