ABOUT ME

Now I'm back to my hometown Leipzig. I'm really glad to have all my friends and family back. :) But still I miss the time I spent in Scotland! Besides the bad weather ;) it was really a great time and I met the loveliest people.
So I really would enjoy to get to know everybody who is visiting Leipzig. Perhaps I can show you around a bit if I'm not too busy and we can go into a club or a cafe. Love dacing all night long! But I also go always in for a nice chat!

PHILOSOPHY

I do not really have a philosophy. But I'm really an optimistic person who always tries to make the best out of everything. Sometimes it's hard but giving up is not so much my cup of tea. Normally I rather try too long...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch Surfing is the greatest social invention ever! It really made my time in Scotland fantastic. If I had not meet the Couchsurfers I would have died of loneliness. :(
Moreover, my English is very much improved through CS. Now I should work on my French perhaps...

Interessen

- running through Leipzigs nature (we have got a great forrest in the middle of the town more or less), also running as a contest (next project: half-Marathon)
- my pet-rats ;P
- dancing all night long in my favourite clubs
- my friends of course but also getting to know different people from everywhere. I also love to speak English. I really miss that part very much now.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am really very much into reading. Sounds boring I know. But I can't help it. Since I borrowed the Film Pride & Prejudice from a very dear friend in Scotland I love Jane Austen books but I also do like Terry Prachett.
I recently just discoverd my passion for crime stories but I also like children's books and "main-stream" books like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.

When it comes to films I'm rather flexible. I have got a very good friend with whom I usually watch horror films (though I can never remeber why when the story really gets thrilling). Of course a always fancy "girl's-films". ;)
The only fimls I really do not enjoy are such veeeeery silly comedies like 'You Don't Mess With The Zohan'. Not funny. Sorry.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One year ago I have been to Norway. The nature there is absolutely impressing!
And just recently the ceilidh dances especially when there are almost only CSlers. It feels so much like they all know each other when you see it from the outside. But most of them meet for the first time. Nobody is shy and everyone open and friendly.
I also had a camping weekend on a small island named Bute. We were only girls and lost our way several times though there were only three streets on that damn little isle. :D But still we had the best time ever and saw so many impressing things. The only pity was that we missed the seals. :( At least, we saved a tiny little bat. :)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I could teach you how to party. :D And perhaps a bit of ceilidh dancing if I still remember...

I'm very curious to learn about different cultures and lifes. I'm also interested in music though have no idea about making music at all.
