About Me

Hi,
I'm a musician from Iceland and Denmark, having lived in both. I also lived about 5 1/2 years in Connemara on the wild west coast of Ireland and relocated to Denmark a while ago.
I write music, play piano, sing, and teach music, and am into writing, conscious choices, personal and collective growth and healing, authentic being, expansion, and freedom.
Training to become a mindfulness meditation teacher to integrate into my work.

You could say I'm a traveler having been on my long journey in the Cosmoverse, on my healing journey of remembering, and my mission within the mission in this life.
Therefore I found it interesting how we approach age in this world, instead of listening to our bodies and what they need. Maybe I am fortunate to have good genes and am biologically younger than my number age, but just as much I like to stay strong and fit with yoga, breathing, running, hiking, biking, healthy food.
I like to have fun and am also a very humorous and curious person, and can really have a child-like wonder about some things.

The following is simply part of my approach to life...

Working with the waves of life as they roll through, for every wave I feel stronger and discover a new room of love in my spirit and heart unfolding.
One of my core themes in this life is seeing and feeling in every way that we need to reconnect with ourselves, each other and Earth, the life field around us. We know this deep down, and now we need to make choices from within. We can only cultivate real love from within to share with others. I have suffered and healed, uncovered and processed some more, healed some more, and am recovering from the things we took on in this world just like you.

In today's world real love can sometimes seem to be working more quietly or invisibly, overlooked by the addictions to noise, drama, persistent ego, and especially by the many broadcasting messages about that thing they call "love" that creates small and dependent identities, perpetuates disconnection from self and from real connection with others, denial, toxic games, and unhealthy fantasies. These are a misguidance or game of entrapment or fear and separate identity, and not true love or the noble healing and service in true love.

I think we are really at a point where we each choose if we really want to heal and stick around with this world and walk with it, whether we want to see that only real, clear and noble love is here to stay. It has a strong current, is completely self-flowing and does not need to shout from the rooftops. It is its own power and does not need further explanation. We see it clearly and feel increasingly more fearless in it when we have chosen truth, as our eyes need the setting of truth to wake, and our heart need it to soften and expand, and our mind need it to sharpen. We cannot evolve in depth without remembering the deeper truth within ourselves.
This love is true because it is eternal, all-encompassing, trustworthy, expansive, healing, inter-connecting, and encourages your authentic self and inner freedom, personal truth and strength of humility, and encourages that shared freedom with others or another. Only in real love can we do real self-healing, real work, real support. We grow and give it to ourselves, from our selves, and we give it to the life field that is here. We give it to our spirit, beings, bodies, thoughts, and feelings, and to our creative flows. And then we give it to each other and the life field. We can only really see and listen to others when we are connected in this love.

I intend to be more healthy and strong, to expand more and more the older I get.
It is a wonderful thing, that we all have our gifts, areas of special ability and strengths. You have that too. In a mature world, we can express them openly, without becoming egocentric or diminishing ourselves. We can exchange them and co-create things together, and what we can heal, create, and serve with them is the interest.
Tell your story if you feel you have something important to say. True listeners will listen.

The whirling around of things in the world at this time can seem confusing, chaotic, and it is polarizing and traumatic, but we can move on and move better when staying in the center of our authentic strong selves and beings, observing the dance of the world around us, and sharing with each other. Really listening to each other.
I know that you have roads of deep love in you, and a beautiful potential. They shine brighter, and whisper more and more when you become still to hear them, above the noises of the smaller off roads or artificial sub-parts that are trying to distract and catch your attention as they dissolve. If you are choosing healing too, I know that you can sharpen your senses and remember to recognize who you really are, and what really matters. This is something we all go through if we deliberately want to heal, no mater if it is tomorrow, in a year, in several years, or yet another lifetime. Your timing is respected, and you always choose, even when you are not aware.

Whatever your lived story is, I believe you. If you are well on your way of healing, I salute you with all my heart. If you are discovering or looking for a tangible entrance point to your aware healing, I salute you with all my heart. No matter what, you are loved. I acknowledge your suffering, joy, pain, confusion, smiles and tears, and the way you are trying to navigate this world, and I acknowledge how you are coming back to love yourself. I acknowledge the way you can be gradually more yourself, without needing any particular display of this or that, but simply You on your path. Your noble path, and maybe through expressing your specialities and gifts, abilities or talents if you are aware of those.

I find this helpful for navigation in this world, to remember that a place that is good for you, is a place where you are not judged, but seen and loved truly for who you are, respected and encouraged in being your being, for your needs, and in practicing and developing your gifts and what you are good at.
In a place that is good for you, no-one will be worshipped or put on a pedestal, and neither will they be disrespected or excluded. In a place that is good for you, authenticity has replaced pretension, co-creation has replaced competition. Building of community with its sharing and true exchange is more important than popularity and projection onto a few, and transparency and experience has a dialog and is not silenced.
In a place that is good for you, nature is respected as a teacher for our reconnection in the body in this world, and a teacher of compassion, oneness, true love, equality, humility, a connected part of the teachings beyond it and of a noble planet.

I can feel when people are genuine and honest, and when they are not. I feel both myself and others quite a bit, some more than others, while I would never pretend to simply Know another person. We cannot know the underlying reasons for everything, so it is important not to judge, while at the same time not tolerating disrespect. I love kindness, and I also love discernment, and kindness is accompanied by clear boundaries. Freedom comes with responsibility.
I especially appreciate meeting people who are kind, honest and strong in who they are. Those who if they so choose can be vulnerable and real about their journey and experiences and not pretending or living on the surface. People who are solid in their sensitivity and values and sort of know the beat of their hearts.
Nobody is perfect. I am not perfect, have learned some things the hard way, while others came easier for me. I have been through very difficult things and experienced very beautiful things. I am more interested in how we choose to heal and learn from our lived stories, because nobody has the perfect story or has it all figured out.

While I respect for everyone to be who they are and where they are at in their journey, I do not resonate much with spiritual bypassing on the other hand, meaning when individuals utilize "spiritual practices" to be constantly running to the next thing, perhaps away from things in themselves that need healing and attention, or surfing the world under the label of being "free", metaphorically speaking. Neither do I like if people use "spiritual practices" or guru-worshipping groups to feel they are better than others or judge those who are actually free and independent from such groups (it is not healthy to worship a figure head, and it will not liberate you).
About traveling. People can have periods of traveling which does mean freedom and important self-discovery, and you can learn things when you travel that you can never learn in any school. This is important. And other times if people are nomads, it can mean actually avoiding to heal and becoming addicted to constant new entertainment and becoming rootless and restless, and potentially hurting others on the road.
This depends on each person and situation of course.

To put it in a different way: The whole world is traumatized by now, from very lightly to more heavily. This is just the world we live in and part of what we have experienced. It is our responsibility to heal ourselves though, the programming or baggage we had. We do not need to do it alone, and we cannot meditate or travel our way out of things that we really need get to know in ourselves or in relations. Things we need to heal, face, or pain or joy to be experienced, lessons to be learned, tears to be expressed.

Those who resonate with these lines will know what I talk about....

When I hold myself in love, kindness, and respect, and you hold yourself in love, kindness, and respect, added with trust, and a willingness to leave the comfort zone, we have more to give, can walk this path co-creating, in our own tracks and unique skins, with our energy and wings, gifts and contributions, without fear, blindsiding ego, pretension or hiding. Across the cosmoverse, domains, universes, dimensions, galaxies, planets, cultures, lands, groups, life to life, being to being, person to person.
We can genuinely love and care for all life co-inhabiting the planet, and the rainbow-silver garden in the making, under and beyond our feet. Together with the planet that holds our bodies right now, walking with it back home while reclaiming our true hearts, deeper understanding, grace, humility, sharpened listening, wisdom, and mature beingness. This is what will be more natural for humanity in the future. This is my wish for our connections and communities now and in the future.

-On a healing journey in Eternal Oneness. I really love music, empathy, writing, personal and collective growth and healing, nature conversations, health and self-healing, health food, mindfulness, yoga, body conversations, curiosity, fun in mountains, running, conscious choices, authentic being, expansion, discernment, kindness, love, and freedom. Sensitivity is a vast existence, a deliberate part of the way we can heal, navigate, care, and explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was on a break for years not using this site. Have also simply met interesting and sympathetic people on travels and mountain hikes who offered me to stay in their homes or in some way helped me out.
I love to meet new sympathetic individuals as part of the travels we all make, and would like to give back, am able to host more in some periods than others.

PLEASE NOTE:
Knebel village is around 45 minutes driving from Aarhus. I live in a smaller village, Knebelbro, about 1,5 km after Knebel. I am not able to pick up. There is a bus to Knebel Bro from Knebel, or you can walk for around 20-25 minutes.
