ABOUT ME

I'm social, talkative, forgetful, friendly, generous, loyal, smiley, passionate, forgiving and brutally honest. I am married (for almost 30 years) We have 2 children, a boy and a girl, both married, no grandkids. My mother was born and raised in Germany, all her relatives are there and I would like to get to know them better. I love traveling, but I haven't had much opportunity until now. I would love to have a German immersion opportunity, to learn more German. I'm now disabled, unable to work, so I want to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

I smile everywhere I go (as often as I can), because my smile may be the only contact someone has that day, and I want them to remember to smile, plus it costs nothing to be friendly.
I try to live a healthy and happy life.
I am honest, and hardworking.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very little, I have joined one gathering in Duluth.
I had such a great time! I hope to visit a Duluth gathering again, great host, great companions, great itinerary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen amazing things:

Some horribly amazing, that I wouldn't want anyone to ever have to experience.
Some wonderfully amazing, that I keep with me and like to share.

I am always amazed at the world's people, and how we behave in it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I have no marketable talents - but I love people, math and small children- they have a lot to say.

Learn: I am ADHD, so I have no short term memory, but I am willing to try to learn anything new, especially languages, and also listen.

Share - My past is a great story, I have experienced ten lifetimes, lots of different cultures, religions, and classes. It is an interesting story, happy and traumatic at times.
