I am a young french guy, backpacking in South America since may 2023!
I decided to take a break in my studies in order to go and discover the world with no time limit :D
I am always trying to go for the way that allows me to meet the most people, human connections are a huge part of traveling for me. Couchsurfing is one mean to achieve this goal, i hope that i will have the pleasure to meet you !

Soy Ángel, un mochilero francés conociendo a América del Sur desde mayo 2023. Decidí de hacer una pausa en mis estudios para salir a conocer el mundo, sin fecha de vuelta!
Siempre me voy por la manera de hacer que me permite de encontrar gente, las conexiones con otras personas son una parte muy importante, creo que la mas importante, de mi viaje! Me parece que CS es una plataforma que me puede ayudar en este objetivo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to use Couchsurfing because i am doing a lot of my travels hitchhiking, in order to have a real taste of what life in the country i am travelling into looks like, by meeting with people experiencing it.
Couchsurfing seems to be an other way to achieve the same goal, sharing some moments with locals, learn about the country and the way of life, and it is also allowing me to avoid touristic hostels and places when I need a break from them ! My best memories always come either from an encounter on the road, or are lived in a place i've been recommended by an encounter on the road :D

Interests

I am really curious of everything ! I love to discuss in general, about cinema, art, way of life, spirituality, politics, especially in different countries, we always learn a lot on our own ideas when confronted to other realities.
My favorite thing is propably learning new stuff. If it is from someone passionated by a specific thing, I could spend hours listening to it, no matter what the topic is

My favourite film is Leto of the russian director Kiril Serébrennikov.
I am a big cinema enjoyer, i watch everything and i love a lot of different movies : Los Infiltrados, The Kingsman, The Lord of the rings, Aftersun, Blow Out (and all De Palma movies actually), Sound of Metal, Harry Potter, Azur and Asmar, Usual Suspects, Edward scissors hands, La Boum, El Reino, Whiplash, Arrival, Parasite, The Idiots of Lars Von Trier, Tarantino, Princess Mononoke, Relatos Salvajes, Interstellar and Nolan in general, Breaking Bad, GoT, Naruto, Sherlock the TV show with Cumberbatch, and a looot more...
I deeply love to discuss cinema!
My favourite book is House of Leaves of Danielewski and i read a lot of Science Fiction.
