About Me

ABOUT ME

I am Australian born Chinese and grew up in a country town. That's where my distinct (borderline bogan) Aussie accent comes from that takes most people off guard.
I love an adventure. I enjoy exploring new places and learning new things through meeting people and discovering their passions and their stories.
The travel bug bit me when I finished uni and travelled around Asia with a group of friends for a few months. Since then it's been a new destination whenever I get a chance.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, give and be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few times in Seattle to visiting friends. Looking forward to hosting when I settle down in one spot.

I recently started surfing. My first experience was in Ipoh, Malaysia with a wonderful host. She took us in, showed us around and took us on an incredible food safari. I am looking forward to meeting more people and hearing their stories and getting immersed into the local culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the Inca Trail. It wasn't just the amazing scenery that blew me away it was also the people I was with. A group of randoms from all parts of the world somehow ending up in the same spot and embarking on an incredible journey together through wet and grinding mountain passes to remote ancient sites. It was fun, it was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for more. These are the times when you feel like you have shared something really special with strangers that are now not just comrades but good friends.
