I am a 19 year old student who loves traveling, but doesn't have much funds to do so. I really want to visit NY and other countries like the UK and Spain. I love to write, and feel traveling is going to inspire me to write about the different places I visit and upload them on my blog! I cook, clean, and everything in-between! I love music, fashion, and food and am excited to see where I am able to visit this summer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing because simply, I am a broke college student. I don't have very much money to offer up, but I feel that if there is a will, theres a way, so I am trying to eliminate all roadblocks. I want to visit different places, especially because I am young and get the most out of this world. There are all types of nice people in this world, especially on here, and Im looking forward to making friends and exploring this planet we live on!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite genre of music is hip-hop. I love all kinds of music though, and sometimes want to change to some slow sad music when its gloomy, or something more hype when Im feeling energized and excited. I prefer books over movies and have read many but some of my favorite are Holes, Looking for Alaska, Divergent, Catcher in the Rye and many more. Movie wise, I stick to comedies because I don't like the too serious movies. Anything with Seth Rogan or Leonardo DiCaprio and its a must watch for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I collected canned goods and clothing for single mothers during the Thanksgiving time. With so many single mothers, and myself having a single mother, I know it is difficult to prepare food for the Holidays. I wanted to give back and collect as many goods as possible. They all enjoyed them and made good use of them. I collected donations by going door to door because stores wouldn't let me put up a collection basket.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach in another country, preferably just to gain some experience working with different types of people. I have never taught, but Im majoring in English, so that would be enjoyable. I am still in college and am looking to transfer to a four year by next year!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share anything from food, good conversation, and anything else needed from my host. They are doing a huge favor by letting me stay, so the least I can do is offer anything they need. I really appreciate the opportunity, and would never try to tale advantage of something so beautiful. The hosts are probably looking for positive people with a good sense of humor and respectful, and that describes me!
