I currently work at a nonprofit in Boston that brings young people from all over the Greater Boston region to learn about and take steps to change the food system. I work directly with high school students who learn sustainable agricultural practices during the summer. I facilitate workshops on food justice and social justice and encourage them to discuss their identities with those who are different than they are. The food we grow gets distributed as CSA shares, sold at farmers markets in communities that don't have access, and donated to hunger relief organizations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a terrible sense of humor. My young people have gotten used to my corny jokes and they complain about them (even though I'm sure they actually enjoy the jokes). I like having conversations to get to know people for who they are and what makes them who they are.
